Przegląd

Passed.AI is a platform designed to help high schools and secondary educators identify AI-generated content in student submissions. It combines detection scoring with writing process tracking, integrating with tools like Google Docs to capture how a document was created, not just the final result. For teachers, it offers a way to investigate suspicious assignments by reviewing edit history, typing patterns, and AI probability scores. For students, it provides a method to demonstrate authentic authorship by maintaining a verifiable record of their writing process. The tool is positioned as part of a broader academic integrity workflow, aiming to support fair assessment as generative AI becomes more common in classrooms.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Plagiarism checking alongside AI detection just works and useful for academic integrity investigations. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Google Docs writing history tracking is exactly what I needed, and integrates with Google Docs workflows. I do wish subscription cost may limit school-wide rollout, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: shareable proof-of-work links for students and integrates with Google Docs workflows. Where it lags: requires student adoption of tracking tools. On balance the feature set — especially teacher dashboard for submissions — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and useful for academic integrity investigations. Plagiarism checking alongside AI detection fits neatly into how we already work, and shareable proof-of-work links for students removed a step we used to do by hand. Subscription cost may limit school-wide rollout, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.
