Visão geral

Autoslide is an AI-powered add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint that helps users build presentations faster by automating slide creation, layout, and content generation. It works directly inside PowerPoint, letting you draft decks from a prompt, outline, or existing material without leaving the familiar editing environment. The tool focuses on producing clean, professional-looking slides with consistent formatting, suggested visuals, and editable text. It is aimed at professionals, educators, and students who need to turn ideas into structured presentations without spending hours on design work. Because it integrates with PowerPoint, output remains fully editable as native .pptx files, making it easy to refine, rebrand, or combine AI-generated slides with manually created ones.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Automated layout and design suggestions is exactly what I needed, and runs inside PowerPoint with no separate app. I do wish design variety can feel templated, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and generates structured slides from simple prompts. Support for visuals and structured outlines fits neatly into how we already work, and support for visuals and structured outlines removed a step we used to do by hand. Limited use outside the Microsoft ecosystem, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is editable .pptx output — handled better than most — and speeds up routine deck creation. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on native PowerPoint add-in integration, and runs inside PowerPoint with no separate app caught me off guard. Requires a Microsoft PowerPoint license is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.
