Przegląd

Windsurf Editor is an AI-powered integrated development environment built around the idea of preserving developer flow. It combines a familiar code editor experience with agentic AI features that can read project context, suggest changes across multiple files, and execute multi-step coding tasks with minimal interruption. The editor blends autocomplete, chat, and autonomous agents into a single workflow, letting developers stay focused on intent rather than switching between tools. It is aimed at both individual developers looking to speed up routine work and teams building larger codebases that benefit from context-aware AI collaboration.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and agentic features handle multi-step tasks. Inline command and refactor tools fits neatly into how we already work, and cascade agent for multi-file edits removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on support for major languages and frameworks, and deep project-wide context awareness caught me off guard. Best features often require a paid plan is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.
