Przegląd

AnyAPI is a unified API gateway that gives developers a single endpoint for accessing more than 400 AI models from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others. Instead of managing separate integrations, billing accounts, and SDKs for each vendor, teams can route all of their model calls through one consistent interface. The platform includes smart routing logic that can direct requests to the most appropriate model based on cost, latency, or availability, helping reduce downtime and optimize spend. It is aimed at engineering teams building production AI features who need flexibility to switch between models without rewriting application code.

Kluczowe funkcje

  • Unified API for 400+ AI models
  • Multi-provider support (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, more)
  • Intelligent request routing
  • Automatic failover between providers
  • Centralized usage analytics
  • Drop-in compatibility with common SDKs

Zastosowania

Consolidate multi-model integrations

Replace separate OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google integrations with a single endpoint, reducing SDK maintenance and unifying billing across 400+ models.

Optimize cost and latency

Use intelligent routing to automatically send each request to the model best suited on price, speed, or availability without changing application code.

Add failover for production AI features

Protect user-facing AI features from provider outages by enabling automatic failover between providers when a model becomes unavailable.

Experiment and switch models freely

Engineering teams can swap between models from different vendors to benchmark quality or cost without rewriting integration logic.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on intelligent request routing, and single integration covers 400+ models caught me off guard. Potential latency overhead from the proxy layer is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: centralized usage analytics and easy switching between providers. Where it lags: advanced provider-specific features may be abstracted away. On balance the feature set — especially drop-in compatibility with common SDKs — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Automatic failover between providers just works and consolidated billing and usage tracking. Adds a third-party dependency to the stack can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.
