MIDI Agent is a VST and AU plugin that brings generative AI directly into Digital Audio Workstations. Instead of exporting files or switching between web tools, producers can prompt the plugin from within their session and receive MIDI patterns ready to drop onto any instrument track. The tool is designed to assist with songwriting tasks such as drafting chord progressions, melodies, basslines and drum grooves. Output arrives as standard MIDI, so notes can be edited, rearranged and assigned to any virtual instrument the producer already uses. It fits naturally into existing workflows in Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase and other major DAWs, making it suitable for both quick idea generation and deeper compositional exploration.

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Prompt-based music generation is exactly what I needed, and runs as a native VST/AU inside the DAW. I do wish aI output may need manual refinement, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
