Aperçu

MCP.so is a directory dedicated to the Model Context Protocol (MCP) ecosystem, indexing servers, clients, and related projects that extend AI assistants with external tools, data sources, and integrations. It aims to be a central hub where developers can browse, submit, and explore MCP-compatible resources. The site organizes listings by category and use case, making it easier to find servers for tasks like file access, database queries, web search, productivity apps, and developer tooling. Entries typically include descriptions, links, and setup details to help users get started quickly. For builders working with MCP-enabled assistants such as Claude or other compatible clients, MCP.so serves as a reference point to discover what's available and to share their own projects with a wider audience.

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Browsable directory of MCP servers and clients is exactly what I needed, and easy discovery by category and use case. I do wish limited to the MCP ecosystem, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
