개요

CopyCat is an automation tool that lets users build workflows by recording their actions rather than scripting them manually. By observing clicks, inputs, and navigation patterns, it generates automations that can be replayed, edited, and shared across teams. The platform is aimed at users who want to streamline repetitive digital tasks without writing code. It positions itself as a quick way to go from a manual process to a working automation in minutes, making it accessible to non-technical team members while still useful for developers looking to save time.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: team sharing of automations and reusable and shareable automations. Where it lags: less flexible than custom-coded automations. On balance the feature set — especially team sharing of automations — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and reusable and shareable automations. Workflow playback and replay fits neatly into how we already work, and quick deployment of recorded tasks removed a step we used to do by hand. May require cleanup or editing after recording, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. No-code interface just works and no-code, record-based workflow creation. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is editable automation steps — handled better than most — and accessible to non-technical users. Worth the time if this is your use case.
